Costello Jewellers, Cornelscourt Shopping Centre was well known in the area for its competitive pricing and informative guides to buying 9ct gold chains.
Costello Jewellers, Cornelscourt Shopping Centre was sold in January
2000. The proprietor, Eoin Costello, had decided to take the momentous
decision to sell his
business to set up an Internet business (www.novara.ie).
Costello Jewellers was an active part of the community in the Cornelscourt and Cabinteely area. The jewellers became the first in Ireland (if not the World) to organise a Scrap Gold Week in aid of charity.
